This week, we had a fun inspiration challenge (check out the QKD blog for the picture,) and when I was thinking about what I wanted to do for my card on the way home from work, this is what I decided to do because all I could think about were the small pumpkins and I thought they were the only "orange" in the picture:
I used the Give Thanks sentiment from the Harvest Time Stamp Set. I wanted to use brads, but opted for Stickles when I couldn't find any orange brads in my stash.
When I looked back at the inspiration picture, I realized the pillows were orange as well. Oops!! So, I was trying to figure out what to do and pulled out my September Royal Kit and saw the owl images that looked like they were on pillows, so I decided to do another card:
Everything from this card, from the ribbon to the sentiment stamp to the patterned paper can be found in the September kit!!! It was so nice to have everything all in one. The only thing I added was the ink and the jewelry tag (of course, the tag and ink were from a previous kit!)

BEAUTIFUL Penny! The pure simplicity of the first card makes you REALLY pay attention to the sentiment - and giving thanks is something I don't think any of us do often enough - there's always room for me! And i LOVE LOVE LOVE the owls on the pillows of the second card! Just lovely!
Penny, way to sell that Sept kit! Your card is FANTASTIC! The kit must be full of goodie goodness cuz your card is so great! And I like the first card as well... so what I see from the photo... clean and crisp. Great job!
