It's that time again!! It is time for the Queen Kat Designs Royal Wednesday Blog Hop!!! If you came here from Jules' blog, then you are on the right track, if not, head back to the QKD blog and start from there, so you don't miss anyone.
I was so excited about the challenge this week because it was to alter a frame. I LOVE to alter, and have a big box full of stuff to chose from. BUT I did not have a frame. I ran in the Dollar Tree and grabbed a basic black frame (yes, for only one dollar) and used my paper and stamps and came up with this project.
Just think, some paper and stamps (and $1.00 for a frame) and you can get started on those Christmas presents early.
Okay, now it is time to head off to see what the fabulous Tina has in store! Until next week, happy stamping!

QKD Royal Wednesday Blog Hop
Wonderful Wednesday to you all!!! If you are here from Jules' blog, then you are on the right track, if you stumbled upon my blog, then go back to the beginning to the QKD blog and start from there.
This week, we had a fun inspiration challenge (check out the QKD blog for the picture,) and when I was thinking about what I wanted to do for my card on the way home from work, this is what I decided to do because all I could think about were the small pumpkins and I thought they were the only "orange" in the picture:
I used the Give Thanks sentiment from the Harvest Time Stamp Set. I wanted to use brads, but opted for Stickles when I couldn't find any orange brads in my stash.
When I looked back at the inspiration picture, I realized the pillows were orange as well. Oops!! So, I was trying to figure out what to do and pulled out my September Royal Kit and saw the owl images that looked like they were on pillows, so I decided to do another card:
Everything from this card, from the ribbon to the sentiment stamp to the patterned paper can be found in the September kit!!! It was so nice to have everything all in one. The only thing I added was the ink and the jewelry tag (of course, the tag and ink were from a previous kit!)
So, thanks for stopping by and don't forget to enjoy the rest of the blog hop: the wonderful Tina is next, and if you get lost on the way, here's the list with all of the stops.

QKD - RWBH 9/16
That's right! It is time again for the Queen Kat Designs Royal Wednesday blog hop! It is the third Wednesday of the month and that means it is time for the color challenge!!! This month was definitely a challenge for me -- olive green, brown, yellow, and cranberry. If you started from the QKD blog and have followed from Jules' blog to mine, then you are on the right track. If not, circle back and start from the beginning.
I scanned the patterned paper in my stash and didn't find anything to work with the colors I needed, then I headed to my ribbons and started pulling out when I found the perfect ribbon! Check it out on my card. Then I started on my project; I was going to make an ATC this week, but it ended up on the card, instead of being the card! OH well.
Here's mine:
I used the Two-Step tree stamp set. This is definitely a great set to have; right now it is on sale!!! Go grab it while it is still 25% off (and while you are at the store, check out the other stamps on sale).
Thanks so much for stopping by; now it is time to head off to Tina's blog and see what wonderful creation she has in store for this week. Don't forget to check out all the great inspiration at the other blogs; here's the links if you get lost.
