QKD Monday Hop

I hope that you got to join in on the fun with the Sweet Crop this past weekend on the QKD site. If you didn't know about all the fun going on, then make sure you sign up to be a member to stay in on the loop!!!

Okay, the challenge for the Monday hop was an inspiration challenge. The challenge was an old ad for carpet - oh my!!

Before I post my creation, just wanted to make sure you started your hop at the QKD blog and hopped here from Helene's blog. If not, then head back to the beginning and hop away!! Okay, back to my post, I looked at the ad and thought about all the textures that I could see -- I am such a simple scrapper when it comes to my cards and layouts that I was at first stumped, but then I started digging through my scraps box and found some old paper that worked perfectly. I used the new set On a High Note.

And speaking of new stamps, QKD released seven new stamps this weekend that you can pick up for one low price of $25.00 for the entire bundle! Great deal!!!

Now it is time to head off to Wynneth's blog to see what fabulous creation she has. Then don't forget to go back to the QKD blog tomorrow for Tuesday's hop.

I like how your striped paper mimicked the colors and squares from the photo.

Beautiful colors, Penny! Love that you muted down the colors from the inspiration photo. Love how well the colors work together and that you colored in the notes too. =)
