It is another fabulous Monday here and it is time again for the QKD Monday blog hop -- Part II of New Releases, last week, I played with On a High Note and this week I played with Bon Voyage!

Okay, back to the hop, you should have hopped here from the vintage wonder known as Helene (one day I am going to scrap like her - I hope!). If you just stumbled onto my blog, head back to the beginning of the hop at the QKD blog so you do not miss any of the new creations this week.

Our challenge this week was to use this sketch made by the Queen herself.

And here's my take on the sketch:

I rotated the sketch for my card, and I love how it turned out. Now, time to head off to Wynneth's blog to see what she has created for this week's hop; I know it will be fabulous!!! And don't forget that right now, stamps are on sale for 35% off!!! So, you can get the new releases for a steal!!!

Tomorrow the other group starts their hop at the QKD blog as well, make sure you see their fabulous creations as well.

QKD Blog Hop - New Releases!

It's Monday so it is time for the QKD Monday blog hop, but it is also the FIRST Monday of the month so that means it is time for the NEW releases!!! I know!! I am so excited as well. So, you should have hopped here from Helene's blog, if you just stumbled upon my blog, then make sure you go back to the beginning at the QKD blog, so you do not miss anything.

This week, the Monday group had a great sketch to work with:

I loved the design of the sketch and almost used it exactly with my card:

Isn't that the cutest stamp set? It is one of the new releases called High Note and it will be available on Wednesday at the QKD store! But check out what is on the back of my card!

I love my new personalized stamp -- it is this design here but there are so many different styles to select from! Whether you want a personalized "made by" or a personalized Etsy store or personalized address stamp, Vicki can hook you up!!!

Okay, now it is time to hop to Kimme's blog! Kimme is one of the new QKD designers to be joining us and her work is FABULOUS!!!!

Don't forget to start back the QKD blog on Tuesday for the second group of hoppers and the store is the place to be on Wednesday!!!

Scrapbook Heaven Sketch Crop!

It's time for Jazzy January's Sketch Crop at Scrapbook Heaven.

There are some fun sketches and games for all!! And of course, don't forget prizes as well!!!

And you can even challenge the DT by creating your own sketch!!! So, come and join in on the fun!

Monday's Inspiration Blog Hop - Queen Kat Designs

It's Monday, so that means it is time again for the Queen Kat Designs Royal Monday blog hop. This week our challenge was an inspiration challenge; hopefully, you started at the beginning of our hop at the QKD blog and saw the inspiration photo there, if not, head back to the beginning so you do not miss a single project. You should have arrived here from Helene's blog.

Okay, here's my project. I loved how the walls were in the photo, so I used my bone folder to create lines in the cardstock and then I folded the cardstock on the lines and inked them. I thought it was easier to do this than to just draw lines spaced out across the paper. I used the Kitchen Goddess stamp set. I stamped the cute little kitty on three different papers, cut them, and then layered them to create the final project. A little matting and inking and I was finished.

Thanks for stopping by and now it is time to head off to Lara's blog and see her creation. Don't forget to stop by the store while it is still "Tuesday" everyday this week and reap the benefits of the sale:
