T3 Challenge - Jan. 18
It's Tuesday, so that means it is time for the Triple Tiara Tuesday. This is the third week of the challenge and if you saw my earlier post about it, you know that if you play along you can win!!!
This week we had an inspiration challenge! This cool photo from Red Envelope was our challenge.
And here's my card:
I pulled out my alcohol inks and used them to dye a clear button from 7 Gypsies, plus I also smeared the alcohol ink on a transparency sheet. I back the sheet with white to make the colors pop on the black embossed background. Maigan's stamp was the perfect one to go with the fabulous colors!
Here are the rules of Triple Tiara Tuesday:
- Each week 3 Royal Court Members will host the challenge on their blog (this week it's me, plus Jan and Chris.
- You start at the QKD blog and visit the 3 challenge hosts on their personal blogs. (Leave us some love and a link to your project so we can return the favor. *wink*)
- QKD will offer up a $25 stamp gift certificate for the players to compete for each month. So if you enter each week, you have 4 chances to win the monthly prize of $25. (1 entry per week)
- Post your their link to your card on the Inlinkz widget here on the QKD blog.
And, here are the links to the previous two challenges as well.

QKD Relaunch Blog Hop - Kristie Silva
Kristie Silva is such a fun designer at QKD, so we are "relaunching" her line!! And this blog hop focuses on some of her new stamp designs!!!
You should have started at the QKD blog and then hopped along to Loretta's blog, and now you are here at mine.
I played with Blue Fairy and had a great time using this stamp. Here are two cards that I did using this stamp.
Instead of coloring the image, I used glitter and stickles to fill in the main areas of the stamp! I love the way it turned out.
For this card, I pulled out some old patterned paper and letters; I stamped the Blue Fairy image on vellum and then colored in using markers.
Thanks for stopping by; now it is time to head to Nina's blog to see her creations.
