QKD Monday Blog Hop

It is time again for the Queen Kat Designs blog hop! Thanks for stopping by and if you are hopping along with us, you should have started with the QKD blog and then hopped along to Jules blog and now to mine.

This week it is a color challenge and we were to use yellow, green, and blue on our card.

I used the VW bug stamp and some old scraps of patterned paper (I think it was called Dirty Laundry or something like that). Then I pulled out some felt trim and cut out a flower and added it to the card!

As you are hopping along, the next stop is Lara's blog and definitely make sure you hop along to the Store because stamps are 30% off!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget that on the QKD blog tomorrow, the Tuesday group will be hopping!!

Need some Inspiration???

Okay, this is such a great crafty weekend for inspiration and I am either at the ball field this weekend or working on school work (yuck!) but I did want to direct you to the fun!!!

Queen Kat Designs is having the spring flower crop; you can find it here at the ning site!

Cookin Up Creations is having a Card Crop this weekend; you can find it here!

And finally, Scrapbook Heaven is having a spring blog hop, starting at the SH blog here.

Too much fun and not enough time!

Hop Reveal Part #2

That's right!! It is time for the Queen Kat Designs Week 2 of the April reveals. This week, we have another sketch challenge and you can find the sketch at the QKD blog. I hope you started from the blog and have followed along and made it to me through Jules' blog. If not, head back so you do not miss any of the creations!!

Okay, I was so not coming up with anything for this sketch! My mind was absolutely confounded on how to do the background, so I improvised!

I used the Enchanted April set for my card. This set is fabulous and definitely is one that you need to have for your collection!!!

Okay, so thanks so much for stopping by but it is time to head off to Lara's blog. I know you have all missed her as much as I have!!!

Don't forget that tomorrow there is another hop with Tuesday's group and that on the QK Castle Ning there is the Spring Flower crop

Hippity Hop Hop

Wow, it is April and time for the first reveal of the month for Queen Kat Designs.

Thanks so much for stopping by, but I hope you started at the QKD blog and hopped to Jules' blog to mine. If not, you might want to go back and start from the beginning so you do not miss anything!!

Okay, and here's my first card of the month. I got to play with Curious Kitty and I love her!! We were supposed to use the sketch at the beginning of the hop, and I promise, I started out with the sketch, but it didn't end that way!

I stamped her on the paper and then just colored her wings to let her be a pretty white kitty! I added one of the sentiment stamps on the bottom and the flowers at the top.

Thanks again for stopping by (don't forget to start back at the QKD blog tomorrow morning for the Tuesday Reveal Hop) and now it is time to head off to Wynneth's blog and can I just say oh my at her creation!!! She so rocks!
