DT Dare 6/29 - 7/5

Here is the new dare for this week; it is courtesy of Wanda!!

Here's my dare to you. Make a project that is sweet as sugar and cute as candy. I bought this candy simply because the colors are awesome. I don't even eat it. And check out how Kim's ribbons match my candy! Make a project using this picture as your inspiration:

If you take the Dare with us, upload your project to the ASF gallery and then post back to this thread here

ASF DT Dare

Every week a different DT member comes up with a challenge for everyone to do; I had so much fun with the challenge this week. It was by Amy. Check out the thread here and join in on the fun. Here it is.

Dump out your purse & explain it's contents...but don't simply 'make a list' because we've done lists before. This time make a list with descriptions......why it's there, what it's used for, etc. Take pictures of your pile of STUFF after you've dumped it out & even take a picture of your purse. Maybe tell us where your purse came from & why you love it.....or what you DON'T like about it & why you NEED a new one. Be creative & have fun!!

And here's the layout that I did for the challenge. LOL! No, I didn't have to clean out my purse for this; I use a small purse and don't keep much in it at all.

School, school, and more school

Well between going to school to finish up with some work, grading papers for my online class, and working on my own class, summer really doesn't seem to be happening. Oh well! That is just the way it works.

But with my class that I am taking, I am really enjoying it. I know that it probably sounds weird to think that I like it, but the topic that I am researching is really interesting -- using literature as a way to improve self-esteem of teenage girls. I am also working on an ethics presentation; it amazes me what has happened in history for "science."
